We have some delicious stuff to tell you about. Find out what is happening in our world, and how it affects yours.

Sustainable Packaging for a Sustainable World

At Back to Nature, we're on a journey to make our products more sustainable — and that journey started with our packaging.

We're proud of the strides we've made with our packaging over the past 2 years. All of our cartons are made from 100% recycled paperboard with a minimum of 35% post-consumer content. Additionally, more than 95% of our cookie and cracker cartons are printed with inks derived from vegetables.

Our updated packaging highlights the beauty and simplicity of ingredients such as Wheat Flour and certified chocolate. We use even less paperboard by weight, so there is less overall waste. The paperboard is created by a single supplier who uses responsible fiber sourcing practices.

We're excited to take this next step in creating more sustainable Back to Nature product packaging and we are continuously looking for ways to improve in the future.

Back to Nature & The Nature Conservancy

Back to Nature is a proud supporter of The Nature Conservancy — a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Since 1951, The Nature Conservancy has protected 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers worldwide. Some of their key initiatives include improving the survival of coasts and oceans, protecting freshwater ecosystems, restoring and managing the world's forests and helping to preserve parks all over the world. They have achieved tremendous success in addressing the key threats to conservation.

Supporting The Nature Conservancy's initiatives is Back to Nature's way of connecting with the planet, a place that brings people the simple pleasures in life. Whether it's a picnic in the park or kayaking through your local river, enjoying nature brings a smile to your face, and we want to ensure that future generations have the same opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures from earth. Back to Nature is committed to this cause because we believe preserving nature leads to a healthy planet, which in turn, allows for healthier and happier people.

Back to Nature & the Rainforest Alliance

At Back to Nature we are passionate about creating foods made with wholesome and nutritious grains, and the delicious flavors of nature without artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors. We take great steps to find and use high quality ingredients in our products.

We recognize that our responsibility goes beyond great taste and that it begins at the farm. That is why our chocolate is made with cocoa beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. These forested farms provide habitat for ocelots, capuchin monkeys and thousands of other wildlife species. In addition to helping to protect the environment, Rainforest Alliance Certified farms also help ensure that cocoa farmers and their families have proper housing, education, access to medical care and safe working conditions.

Because most of the world's cocoa is grown on small, individually owned farms and provides the economic mainstay for millions of families, the Rainforest Alliance gives cocoa farmers the tools they need to farm sustainably, the incentive to protect their lands from development and the ability to help raise their standard of living by farming more efficiently, improving the quality of their product and finding markets for their sustainably-grown cocoa.

Back to Nature is proud to use chocolate made with cocoa beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. Now, Back to Nature's Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Dark Chocolate and Oats Granola Cookies, and Chocolate Delight Granola not only taste great, they are helping to do great things for others, too. So every time you make a purchase of one of these products, you're actually doing your part to help further make a difference. For more information, please visit www.rainforest-alliance.org.
