Our origin story is one of epic lore.
Let’s take it back to sixties California, where we started in a tiny health food store. It’s been said this little shop helped plant the seeds of today’s natural foods movement before it was cool.
Call us radicals, rebels, innovators... Maybe even the inventors of granola?
(Okay, we didn't actually invent granola. Whoever did, thank you. And please don't sue us.)
Today we’re still living the good life: radiating good vibes, a sunshine state of mind, and delivering super tasty remakes of America's favorite snacks. That’s Back to Nature snacking all the way. Simple joys, no regrets, happy days.
Back to Nature x Trust for Public Land
We are proud to support Trust for Public Land, a nonprofit organization that connects communities to the joys and benefits of the outdoors and increases climate resilience through the creation of accessible parks, trails, schoolyards and conservation projects across the US. In 2026, we are designating our $100,000 annual donation to assist in the construction of Norwood Park in El Monte, CA, a transformation of a vacant school campus into an eco-friendly community park that will serve thousands in the surrounding walkable area.
